Ready to go faux? Here’s everything you need to rock the perfect faux hawk like a headline act.
STEP 1
PREP YOUR CURLS
For long-lasting hold, prep hair with Wella Deluxe Dream Waves & Curls Mousse. Work a palmful of product through wet hair before blowing out with a diffuser to smooth and define curls ahead of styling.
STEP 2
DO THE TWIST
Start by taking a small section of hair from behind your ear and twist away from the face. Wrap section of hair around the back of the header, then pull forward, ensuring ends of hair are falling over the forehead. Pin into place.
STEP 3
STYLE AND SECURE
Take another section of hair directly below the first and repeat, twisting and pinning at the back of the head. Continue working your way down the hairline until you reach the nape of the neck.
STEP 4
STYLE ON REPEAT
Twist, pin, repeat. Continue this technique on the other side of your hair, starting behind the ear and moving along the hairline.
STEP 5
STEP UP THE SHINE
Finish your new faux hawk with a spritz of Wellaflex Shiny Hold Hairspray all over to add shine and hold for up to 24 hours. That deserves a round of applause...
