SLICKED-BACK ESSENTIALS

For slicked-back hair that stays in place, reach for these multi-tasking styling essentials…

STEP 1

BLOW DRY HAIR

Prep freshly washed, wet hair with Wonder Volume & Protection Mousse, then blow dry hair straight. For a sleeker finish, glide over blow dried hair with straighteners.

STEP 2

SECTION OFF THE TOP

Split the top section of hair into three pieces; one on each side of your head, then one large piece through the front center. Tie the two side pieces at the crown to secure, ensuring bands are hidden by the top piece.

STEP 3

SLICK HAIR BACK

Time to get a super-sleek slicked-back look. Squeeze a small amount of Wellaflex Flexible Ultra Strong Hold Gel onto fingertips, and smooth over the sides of hair for glass-like shine.

STEP 4

CREATE A QUIFF

Gently backcomb the front center section at the roots to create a volumized quiff hairstyle. To keep damage to a minimum, we recommend backcombing no more than three times. Then, pin the section back at the crown, still making sure the bands on the two side ponies are hidden.

STEP 5

MIST AND FIX

Finish the look with Wella Deluxe Luxurious Shine Hairspray, then add a few extra grips to the sides of your head to lock your slicked-back hair look down.
