Only apply Magma to dry hair (application on wet hair can result in an uneven colour result).
We recommend sectioning block highlights into several fine strands (2–3 mm) so that the colour mixture may be applied more evenly.
Apply a sufficient amount of the colour mixture onto the individual strands (until the basic hair no longer shimmers through). The amount of the colour mixture is absolutely crucial for the colour result.
First apply the colour mixture from the mid lengths to the roots and then finish with the tips. Reason: To avoid applying too much product to the root area.
Magma is optimally balanced by Welloxon Perfect and the Color Touch
Emulsions. Using peroxides by other manufacturers can lead to colour
distortions and to a shorter duration of the colouring result.
1:1.5 with Welloxon Perfect or Color Touch Emulsion
(e.g. 30 g Magma + 45 g Welloxon Perfect)
Stir the colour mixture well (with a brush or Blondor mixer) to ensure an even and smooth mix.
