CHIGNON ESSENTIALS
Ready to go low? Create an elegant chignon with these style-perfecting products:
STEP 1
DO THE WAVE
Split hair into three parts, then mist with Wellaflex Heat Protection Styling Spray. Take a wide-barrelled curling tong and wrap a small piece of hair around in one direction. Repeat for the next section, wrapping in the opposite direction to alternate the curl. Continue until hair is full and bouncy.
STEP 2
SECTION HAIR
Separate a small section of hair on either side of your face with clips, then tie the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. Twist into a low bun and secure in place with pins.
STEP 3
SWEEP AND PIN
Sweep back one of the front sections of hair and secure with pins at the back of your head, leaving the ends free. Repeat on the other side of your head.
STEP 4
ADD TOUSLED TEXTURE
Time to add a touch of texture. Loosely twist those free ends of hair around the base of your chignon, then pin into place. Use fingertips to gently tease your low bun for a carefree finish.
STEP 5
COMPLETE YOUR CHIGNON
Ready for the finishing touch? Use fingertips to pull out a few strands of hair from the front for some face-framing tendrils. Finish with a spritz of hairspray, like Wellaflex 2nd Day Volume Hairspray, to lock it all in.
