GOLD HAIR ESSENTIALS

It takes just two products to get gold hair; a color gel and a glitter top coat. Here are your must-haves:

STEP 1

SECTION HAIR

Use clips to section hair off, so you can apply gold hair color one piece at a time. This will make it easier to reach lower layers and see exactly where you’ve blended the gel.

STEP 2

APPLY COLOR GEL

Squeeze your gold hair hue, Honey’Moon, directly from the tube onto a section of hair. Focus on the mid-lengths and ends for a DIY balayage effect with a metallic twist.

STEP 3

TWIST TO BLEND

With fingertips, blend the color gel through your hair, twisting as you go to get even coverage.

STEP 4

TOP IT OFF

Add a few drops of the glitter top coat to your gold hair hue. Squeeze directly onto hair and, again, blend with fingertips.

STEP 5

STYLE AND GLOW

Finish by blow drying hair to set the gold color gel and top coat in place. Then, add beachy waves for a summer-ready surfer-girl vibe.
