WAVY HAIR ESSENTIALS

Create laid-back, textured waves with these three must-haves for your dressing table:

STEP 1

PROTECT HAIR

Fight the frizz and protect against heat-induced damage with Wellaflex Heat Protection Styling Spray. Apply this hair-protecting mist section by section over dry hair to prep ahead of heat styling.

STEP 2

MAKE WAVES

Next, create that laid-back wavy hair texture. Take a small section of hair – about an inch thick – and place the ghd Platinum Styler around it. The, glide the styler in one direction, then the other, alternating to create ‘S’ shape or ‘rik-rak’ waves. Continue until you’ve added waves to every section of hair.

STEP 3

ADD SHINE

Break up waves with fingertips to loosen, then spritz Wellaflex Shiny Hold Ultra Strong Hairspray all over for longer-lasting hold. To give wavy hair a messier finish, mist hairspray onto fingertips, then lightly tease and tousle waves.

CLIP IT BACK

To finish, sweep your wavy hair back away from your face, leaving a center parting in the middle. Take a handful of clips and fix behind each ear and around the back of the head, giving this relaxed look a touch of effortless glam.

Expert tip for long-term waves. Spray a bit of hairspray before curling to give your hair a rougher texture. Michael Douglas Wella expert. Wella logo on bottom.
