The Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 was a huge moment for the all-female, trail-blazing F1 Academy, marking the series’ final race of the season. And, as an Official Partner of F1 Academy, Wella was there to watch the high-speed action unfold – while going full throttle with transformations and red livery that took center stage on the strip.
From lights out to the final lap, Wella’s partnership with F1 Academy is all about confidence, strength, and the courage to make it you. This year’s finale showcased exactly that, as the drivers delivered fearless performances on one of the sport’s most iconic stages. But if you couldn’t join us on the strip, don’t fear – we’ve got an insider look right here. These are our three most dazzling moments from the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025…
1. Our Trackside Beauty Crew Bringing the Glam
Trackside, our beauty pit crew created show-stopping looks all weekend long, with ULTIMATE REPAIR and ULTIMATE SMOOTH locking in the healthiest, silkiest manes. It was the perfect chance for drivers and spectators to get to grips with some of our most coveted products, from Miracle Hair Rescue, which repairs hair damage in 90 seconds*, to Miracle Oil Serum and its 96-hour frizz control**.
Even actress Nina Dobrev had a #WellaXF1Academy glow-up, revving up her look with full-throttle curls and the glossiest shine. ULTIMATE SMOOTH Miracle Oil Serum took first place, completing her style with an ultra-nourishing blend of Squalane and Omega-9 for a mirror-like finish.
2. Joanne Ciconte Making the Ultimate Pitstop

As one of the youngest drivers on the grid, Joanne Ciconte, also made a Wella Professionals pitstop, where she swapped the driver’s seat for the salon chair to show off her style. She asked for tumbling waves to get her hair race-ready for the bright lights of Las Vegas – and, like Nina, she reached for ULTIMATE SMOOTH Miracle Oil Serum to add extra dazzle.
3. Our Iconic Red Livery Hitting the Strip

Eye-catching and iconic, our Wella Red livery and car were the talk of the city, driven by Joanne Ciconte as she took part in the final race. Our signature colors stole the spotlight, turning every lap into a statement of passion, power and inimitable Wella style against Vegas’s neon-lit backdrop.
4. Talking Identity with F1 Academy Managing Director Susie Wolff
During her Wella makeover, we chatted with F1 Academy Managing Director, Susie Wolff, about the power of identity and self-expression. “What I struggled with going through motorsports when I was younger was this idea that we had to conform to a stereotype,” Wolff explained. “I want all female drivers to realise that they don’t have to conform to any ideal. They can be individuals and be themselves.” It’s a belief we share at Wella Professionals, where we champion authenticity, creativity, and the freedom to own your journey through your hair with our #MakeItYou movement.
That’s a wrap on the F1 Academy’s 2025 season – but the journey doesn’t end here. Wella Professionals will be back with the series in 2026, supporting the drivers as they take on new races, new challenges, and a new chapter in their journey.
